Job Responsibilities
The QA Lead is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality is met for both new projects as well as ongoing maintenance of existing contracts. They are responsible for planning and managing testing activities for large and/or high complexity projects, organizing project resources, creating detailed test plans and performing tests.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years QA testing experience with a minimum of 2 years in a lead role within a software or web environment
- Related degree or diploma preferred and/or equivalent experience
- A demonstrated understanding of the development lifecycle and how QA fits into the process
- A clear understanding of how to create manual and automated test plans
- A demonstrated understanding of front-end and back-end technologies and how they fit together
- Practical experience in quality planning
- Excellent communication skills and dynamic presentation delivery
- Working knowledge of project budget, scheduling, scope and risk management
